FPRTNAME Description for the major ports of the world directly handling waterborne shipments in the foreign trade of the United States. PRIMPORT Indicates the primary port when multiple ports or port descriptions are assigned the same foreign port code. The value of 1 equals the primary port and a value of 2 indicates an additional port or an alias name for the primary port. CTRYNAME Description for the country of the major ports directly handling waterborne shipments in the foreign trade of the United States. CTRYCODE Numeric code identifying the country of the major ports according to the country arrangement in Schedule C, Classification of Country Designations for U.S. Foreign Trade Statistics. The concordance between the Schedule C and the Schedule K is based upon the first three digits only; the last two digits identify the specific foreign port. However, there are some cases when the first three Schedule K code are different from the first three digits of the corresponding Schedule C country code.
